About KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), Belagavi
KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, the flagship Institute of Karnatak Law Society, Belagavi was incepted in 1979, named after eminent industrialist and Philanthropist Late Mr. Rao Saheb Gogte.
KLS GIT has very good infrastructure spread over 23 acres of mango meadows and comprising of excellent facilities like; Flexible Manufacturing System, 3-D printing, CAD/CAM, AI and ML, Python, Data Science and Cyber Security, Structural Engineering, Digital Signal Processing, Network Analysis, VLSI, High Voltage Engineering, Power Systems, Aerodynamics, Aircraft Propulsion, Advanced Flight Simulator, Nano Science etc.
KLS GIT has the honour of sheltering over 4500 students and more than 260 highly qualified and motivated faculty with 100 Ph.Ds and an equal number of supporting staff.
KLS GIT is approved by AICTE and UGC and is a permanently affiliated and Autonomous Institution under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi.
KLS GIT is accredited by NAAC with A+ grade during 1st and 2nd cycle.
KLS GIT offers 09 Undergraduate programmes viz. Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Bachelor of Architecture, B.Sc. (Honors) and 06 Postgraduate programmes viz. M.Tech. in Structural Engineering, M.Tech. in Machine Design, M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engg, M.Tech. in Digital Communication and Networking, MCA and MBA. KLS GIT has 10 Research Centres approved by VTU.
KLS GIT has healthy association with Industries and signed many MoUs with few foreign collaborations. Established Centres of Excellence with well reputed Industries such as Dassault Systems, CII, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, KCTU, Nano Science and Technology, Enerzi Microwave etc and many more are in the pipeline.
